Australians can enter Tajikistan under a new 30-day visa-free arrangement. Commercial flights to and from Tajikistan remain very limited. Land border crossings are closed to travellers. All international travellers arriving in Tajikistan must provide confirmation of a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test result, issued within 72 hours of arrival. The test must be a COVID-19 (PCR) swab test. Other test results including antibody tests are not accepted. PCR testing may also be required upon departure from Tajikistan. Face masks are mandatory in public.
