If you’re over 12 years of age, you must present your COVID-19 vaccination card to enter any establishment providing non-essential services in Ecuador. The land border with Colombia is open only through the ‘Rumichaca’ international checkpoint. The land border with Peru remains closed, though you may be able to enter via the Huaquillas checkpoint if you’re an Ecuadorean national or foreign resident. (see‘ Travel’).
