Samoa will go into a 48 hour lockdown from 6pm Saturday 22 January 2022 until 6pm Monday 24 January 2022. Samoa has closed its borders, except to returning citizens and residents, or where specific permission is granted. If you’ve had a positive COVID-19 PCR test in the last 30 days, you’ll not be allowed to travel to Samoa unless you meet strict criteria. Commercial flights between Samoa and Australia have been suspended until further notice. As at 20 January 2022 this includes repatriation flights.
