From 26 December 2021, fully vaccinated travellers entering Kuwait need to do 10 days of home or hotel quarantine. This can be shorter if you receive a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test taken at least 72 hours after you arrive in the country. There are strict entry conditions, including a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test result taken no more than 48 hours before you arrive in Kuwait (see ‘Travel’). From 2 January 2022, if 9 months have passed since your second COVID-19 vaccination dose, you’ll only be considered fully vaccinated if you’ve had a third (booster) dose. Some limited restrictions on gatherings and commercial activities are still in place.
