Iceland
Iceland’s borders are only open to citizens from EU/EFTA and Schengen states, and approved countries, including Australia. All travellers must register before arriving in Iceland. If you’re not an Icelandic citizen and you don’t have strong ties to Iceland, you must provide a negative COVID-19 test result. The test should be taken no more than 72 hours before departing for Iceland. You must also undergo testing upon arrival. If you’re not vaccinated and you don’t have proof you’ve recovered from COVID-19, you must take 2 COVID-19 (PCR) tests in Iceland, with 5 days quarantine between tests. Stricter measures apply to travellers having stayed in a defined high-risk zone Local restrictions apply and can change rapidly.
