Georgia’s land borders are open with the exception of the Azerbaijan land border, which at this time requires special permission from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan to cross. The Georgian land border with Russia near Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) is open. Entry is unrestricted for travellers who have documented proof of having received a full course of COVID-19 vaccination (see ‘Travel’).
