Entry requirements into Chile have changed in response to the Omicron COVID-19 variant. Australians need a ‘tourist permit’ to enter Chile. If you’re a non-resident foreign national, you can enter if you hold a valid Chilean Mobility Pass and a Special Entry Permit (Salvoconducto) (see ‘Travel’). Restrictions on masks, social gatherings and border restrictions continue.
