Azerbaijan has extended its special quarantine regime until 1 January 2022. Land border crossings remain closed. It’s only possible for Australian citizens and residence permit holders to enter and exit Azerbaijan by air. There are currently no restrictions on travel within Azerbaijan. Most businesses and services are open including restaurants, cafes and shopping malls, but may require a ‘COVID-19 Passport’ for entry (see ‘Travel’).
