Belgium
You can travel to Belgium if you’re a citizen or resident of an EU/Schengen Area country or if you’re travelling for an essential purpose. You can also travel to Belgium if you’re resident in a third country considered safe by Belgium. Australia is on this list. You need to be vaccinated with an EU-approved vaccine, have a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test less than 72 hours old, a negative Rapid Antigen Test (valid on the day of the test or the day after), or proof of recovery from COVID-19. Additional requirements apply if you’re not vaccinated with an EU-approved vaccine. If you’re a non- resident of Belgium travelling from a ‘red zone’ outside the EU and Schengen Area, you’re required to present a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test less than 72 hours old or a negative Rapid Antigen Test, even if you have a full COVID-19 vaccination certificate or proof of recovery from COVID-19. Quarantine may also be required. See “Travel”.
