Taiwan
If you’ve visited a ‘high risk country’ in the last 14 days, you must quarantine in a group quarantine facility, paid for by Taiwan. Foreign nationals without a residency permit can’t travel to Taiwan at the moment. Foreign spouses and children of Taiwanese passport holders may apply to enter Taiwan. Exceptions will be considered only on emergency or humanitarian grounds. If you arrive in Taiwan between 14 December 2021 and 14 February 2022, you can quarantine in a quarantine hotel or group facility for the first 10 days. You can then complete the remaining 4 days of quarantine at home. You may be able to reduce the time spent in a quarantine hotel or group facility if you’ve been vaccinated. Further COVID-19 tests are required during the 14-day quarantine period if you arrive between 14 December 2021 and 14 February 2022 (see ‘Travel’).
